Knitting course for beginners - Workshop

Would you like to learn to knit or brush up on your skills? Then our flexible knitting course is just right for you! On Saturdays, we offer you the opportunity to learn step by step at your own pace.

Course content:

• Different types of wool: Discover the variety of wool types.
• Reading Wool Labels: Learn what information can be found on a wool label.
• The right accessories: Learn how to use knitting accessories correctly.
• Gauge: Why is a gauge important and how is it done?
• Casting on: Learn the correct technique for casting on stitches.
• Basic stitches: knit and purl stitches.
• Increases: Learn how to increase one or more stitches.
• Casting off stitches: Learn how to cast off stitches neatly.
• Reading knitting charts: Immerse yourself in the world of knitting charts.
• Possible knitting project: scarf, blanket, headband, pillow or similar.

Please note : It's important to understand that it's impossible to learn all of this in just 2.5 hours. The above content represents only a general overview of the course. Each participant decides for themselves whether further course attendance is necessary to obtain additional information or whether they have already acquired sufficient knowledge.
