Maja Karlsson lives in a charming little wooden house in the Swedish village of Arvika. She owns her own yarn shop, teaches knitting classes, and works as a freelance designer, author, and photographer. Her knitting designs have gained international renown. Maja draws her inspiration from traditional patterns, which she translates into a modern style.
