Haven't you heard this method before? In late summer, you stockpile enough knitting and crochet magazines, large quantities of beautiful yarn in cheerful sorbet colors, a streaming subscription, and a moving box full of red wine, cookie tins, and chocolate bars.
And then Grandpa Frost should come knocking. We could ignore him, because equipped like this, the gray season will roll off us like water off a penguin. We may have to ramp up our exercise routine again in the spring, but we'll enjoy the happy and cozy winter to the fullest.
