In our shop you will find yarn kits for the Blue Hour scarf, which the designer Andreas Ruthemann personally put together for us.
The kits contain two color variations of Dundaga Wool: a base color (solid) and a contrasting color (with a long, soft gradient).
The price of the yarn kits varies due to the different weights of the Dundaga Wool skeins. Each kit contains enough yarn to complete the project comfortably. The scarf design is inspired by the blue hour, the special light mood after sunset. The knitting techniques used create the effect of a coarsely woven fabric, and the fact that the scarf is knitted from the long side creates the soft color changes that resemble light reflections.
The Blue Hour scarf requires a good basic knowledge of knitting and is easy to knit once you have mastered the rhythm.

The kits include two colorways of Dundaga Wool: one solid main color and one contrast color with a soft and long color gradient.
The prices for the yarn kits may vary due to the different weights of the skeins. Each kit contains enough yarn to finish the project with no stress. The scarf design is inspired by the blue hour – the natural cool light situation shortly after sunset. The techniques used, create an effect of a woven fabric and the fact that the scarf is knitted sideways, makes the colorshifts appear like a play of light and shadow.
The Blue Hour Scarf is relatively beginner-friendly and once you get into the flow, the pattern is easy and fun to follow.
