COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS “The Instructions “Nefertiti”

Conditions of Participation Participation in the competition organized by Strick und Glück, Wincklerstr 6, 20459 Hamburg, hereinafter referred to as the organizer, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation. By participating in the competition, the participant expressly accepts these conditions of participation.

Eligible participants: Natural persons residing in Germany who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of any goods or services.

Employees of the organizer and its affiliated companies, as well as their family members, are not eligible to participate in the competition. Furthermore, the organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude individuals from participation if there are legitimate reasons, for example:

• a) in the event of manipulation in connection with the conduct of the competition,
• b) in the event of violations of these Conditions of Participation,
• c) in the case of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.

Participation Participation in the competition is possible if the person meets the following conditions:

- She is a subscriber to the Instagram account of Strick und Glück (@strickundglueck).

- She likes the post

- In the comment she mentions two friends who would also be happy to win.

Participation is not dependent on purchasing a product from Strick und Glück or subscribing to the newsletter. Purchasing a product does not increase your chances of winning.

Participation in the competition includes, in the event of a win, consent to the possible publication of the first name and initial of the last name, along with the place of residence, on the Strick und Glück website and social media channels, e.g., Facebook or Instagram. Each participant can only enter the competition once per competition. Participation is only possible until the closing date. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered for the drawing.

The competition runs from 6:00 PM on July 16, 2021, to 11:59 PM on July 21, 2021. Users will have the opportunity to participate online during this period. The electronically recorded receipt of the entry form by the organizer will serve as verification of timely receipt.

Prize, notification and delivery of the prize

The following prizes will be awarded: The instruction manual "Nefertiti"

Non-cash prizes will not be paid out in cash and are non-exchangeable. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.

The winners will be determined after the closing date in a random drawing among all participants.

The winners of the raffle will be notified by the organizer via direct message on Instagram within one week of the closing date. In order to send the prize, the winner must provide their address within 24 hours of receiving notification from Strick und Glück. If a winner does not respond to claim their prize within 24 hours of notification, the prize will be forfeited, and we will select a replacement winner.

The prize will be awarded exclusively to the winner. Exchange, self-collection, and cash payment of the prize are not possible. Non-cash prizes will be sent to the winner by mail to their home address; the organizer will cover the shipping costs. The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize.

Termination of the competition The organizer expressly reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons and to adapt these conditions of participation.

Data protection: Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. Participants confirm that the personal information provided, in particular their first name, last name, and email address, is true and correct. For non-cash prizes, winners will be asked for further personal information, such as their address, after the competition has ended as part of the notification of their winnings. The collection and processing of personal data is solely for the purpose of administering the competition and, if applicable, for sending the prizes. All data will be stored solely for the purpose and duration of the competition and deleted after the end of the promotion, unless there are legal retention obligations.

Participants' personal data will not be passed on to third parties or made available for use without their consent. The exception to this is the company Strick und Glück, Wincklerstr. 6, 20459 Hamburg, which is responsible for administering the competition, in particular for sending the prize. This company collects, stores, and uses the data for the purpose of administering the competition.

In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the promotional media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the organizer's website and its social media platforms.

Participants can request information about their data stored by the organizer at any time, object to the use of their data, and request its deletion. To do so, simply write to Strick und Glück, Wincklerstr. 6, 20459 Hamburg, or send an email to strickundglueck@gmail.com. Upon revocation of consent, the participant's collected and stored personal data will be deleted immediately.

Instagram Disclaimer: This competition has no connection with Instagram and is not sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Facebook in any way. The organizer is the sole contact and responsible party.

Liability: The organizer is not liable for damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions of technical systems and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses, or any other reason related to participation in the competition, unless such damages were caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the organizer (its executive bodies, employees, or vicarious agents). The above limitation of liability does not apply to injury to life, limb, or health, or to fraudulently concealed defects.

Applicable Law: This competition is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Severability Clause: Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain unaffected. In place of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision shall apply that most closely approximates the economic meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision. The same applies if there is a gap in these Terms and Conditions.
