A lightweight, beautiful hat made of pure silk is a must-have for summer. The hat is knitted from one ball of Pro Lana SIlky.

The instructions are also suitable for beginners in machine knitting.

“Silky Glück” hat

• Knitting machine - Fine knitting machine Silver Reed SK280 (with 200 needles and 4.5 mm needle spacing) , Double bed Silver Reed SRP60N (200 needles with 4.5 mm needle spacing)

• Yarn - Pro Lana Silky 100% Silk (50 gr - 200m, 10 cm = 36R, 10 cm = 26M)

Gauge

rib pattern

10 cm = 35M

10 cm = 48R

Plain right

10 cm = 33M

10 cm = 50R

Cast on 160M (L80/R80)

Release all keys, MW 2/3,

Slide to the right, RZ to 0.

Knit 24 rows in cuff pattern 1 stitch right, 1 stitch left.

Hang all stitches from front to back, lower the double bed.

Then continue knitting 48 rows in stocking stitch.

In row 49, divide the hat into 4 parts (see picture 1).

Part 1 (R40/R80)

The carriage is on the right. Move the needles (L80/R40) to position D.

Both needle retractors on 1.

Cast off 1 stitch on both sides of every 2nd row.

After 32 rows there are 8 stitches left on the needles.

Part 2 (R1/R40)

Part 3 (L40/L1)

Knit part 4 (L40/L40) like part 1.

Pull yarn through all remaining stitches (32).

Sew together.
